Helping Small Businesses Build & Scale
SME Support
Free mentoring for small businesses in Bangalore
Small businesses keep Bengaluru's neighbourhoods running: the tailor, the tiffin service, the corner store, the home baker selling on Instagram. Many of them have a great product but no time or money for marketing, bookkeeping or learning new digital tools. SME Support is Youth For Change's program for helping them build and scale.
We connect small and micro businesses with volunteers who can help, through free mentorship sessions, practical workshops on marketing, bookkeeping and digital tools, and support setting up crowdfunding for early-stage ideas. We also plan networking events that connect local businesses with suppliers and new customers.
Many of our volunteers study business, finance and technology, so SME Support is also where students put classroom knowledge to work on a real business.
